Serbs are the 4th Nation that committed genocide

If charges were raised against all Serbs who were involved in shooting on Sarajevans and Bosnians in internationally recognized European country Bosnia, the prosecutors of International court would have been overwhelmed by work. There are more than half of million Serbs who should be put on this list.

Removal of entity that was made on deaths of Bosnian innocent people ( called Republika Srpska although this is an entity not a real Republic  ) is the moral obligation of all Bosnians and all Nations around the world. You can't go wrong by making sure that genocide in Bosnia and the siege of European Olympic city Sarajevo is punished.

I believe that one day this Utopian
fantasy land called "Greater Serbia" gets out of minds of Serbian fanatics who caused all wars in ex-YU including WW1 and genocide in 1992 to achieve their discriminatory ideology.

Serbs are the 4th Nation in the World that killed and tortured innocent group of people based on their religion and/or ethnicity and national identity.

Shocking... Serb Orthodox Priest blessing the paramilitary soldiers just before genocide

Photo: A Screen shot from recently released video footage showing a Serb Orthodox priest blessing the paramilitary soldiers on June 25, 1995 just a few days before the soldiers were to be transferred to the Srebrenica area. Here is an interesting letter from 2004 written by Hariz Halilovic on behalf of Srebrenica Society in Australia. Apparently one of the TV stations did not do much research before presenting Pavle as yet another guest and a "Saint" in their TV program. That is as shocking as seeing a Patriarch blessing genocide persecutors of innocent people in Srebrenica.

Attached photo evidence: Patriarch Pavle with war criminals R. Karadzic and R. Mladic.

SBS TV World News The Age Newspaper
Attorney-General Philip Ruddock

Dear Sir/Madam,

We, survivors from Srebrenica and all Bosnians and Herzegovinians in Australia, were deeply shocked and offended by the SBS TV World News coverage of the Serb Orthodox Church Patriarch Pavle’s visit to Australia on the 7 November 2004. This was not only culturally insensitive to the Bosnian survivors of the ethnic cleansing and genocide, but also a complete misrepresentation of a person who provided ideological backing to the perpetrators of the war crimes against civilian non-Serb populations, firstly in Bosnia and Croatia and later in Kosovo.

Photo: Radovan Karadzic, Ratko Mladic and Serbian Orthodox Church Patriarch Pavle

The fact that the Serb Orthodox Church and its leader Patriarch Pavle have been supporting war criminal Radovan Karadžić and have never distanced themselves from all the atrocities committed with their blessings and in their name was not of a concern when honouring Patriarch Pavle as a ‘peace maker’ here in Australia. Without any points of reference he was presented by the SBS TV as ‘a key figure in the removal of Serbian dictator Slobodan Milošević’, forgetting that together they started the battle for a Greater Serbia, in Kosovo, in 1987. Without Patriarch Pavle’s active involvement in the Greater Serbia project, Milošević could not have been able to gain such a wide support by Serbs.

“Patriarch Pavle has long been a source of inspiration in Serbia. The 90-year-old is widely seen as an advocate of peace and democracy in the troubled Balkans.” - reads a transcript of the SBS World News. The truth is he helped hundreds of thousands of Bosnians to find their eternal peace by being brutally murdered by those who had his blessing. He supports democracy for all - as long as they are Serbs.

Photo: Pavle, Karadzic and Mladic

The Serb Orthodox Church and Patriarch Pavle were with Milošević while he was winning the wars in Bosnia and Croatia and while oppressing Albanians in Kosovo. Once he started losing the battles, the Serb Orthodox Church turned its back on Milošević, declaring him an ‘antichrist and an enemy of Serb people’.

It was reported that among Australian dignitaries Attorney-General Philip Ruddock and former Prime Minister Gough Whitlam were some of the guests of honour at a reception for Patriarch Pavle in Sydney. They should have known (especially our Attorney-General should have been better informed!?) that Patriarch Pavle was ‘a source of inspiration’ to the paramilitary formations such those of Arkan and notorious Chetniks to whom the Patriarch gave his blessing before they went off to commit the killings of non-Serbs, Muslims and Catholics, in Bosnia and Croatia.

They also should have known that the complete destruction of more than 1000 Muslim mosques and Catholic cathedrals by his followers were never condemned by the official Serb Orthodox Church and its leader Patrirch Pavle. How could anyone talk about Patriarch Pavle as someone “calling for a peaceful coexistence” when there are no other religious communities permitted wherever the Serb Orthodox Church dominates. On the places where Muslim mosques and Catholic cathedrals once stood, Orthodox Churches were built. The Bosniak cemeteries have been turned into parking areas and rubbish depots. Our dignitaries should visit the territories that were successfully cleansed by Patriarch Pavle’s followers from their non-Orthodox inhabitants to see the facts with their own eyes.

In our view, the ‘war on terror’ needs to be more than an empty rhetoric and should also include persecution and condemnation of those who participated in terror (including the ethnic cleansing in Bosnia and Herzegovina) or inspired it, like Patriarch Pavle.

It is indisputable that Patriarch Pavle has had a great influence on many “Serb politicians, soldiers, artists and simple people” as Orthodox priest Rade Radan said (SBS report), so he was then morally obliged as a spiritual leader and a Christian to tell his followers not to kill, but to love their neighbors and not to do to others what they wouldn’t wish to be done to them. He failed to do any of this, but instead continues to play the key role in the Serb ultra-nationalist movement and denial of such well-documented war crimes such killings of more than 8000 Bosniak men and boys from Srebrenica in July 1995.

In the name of those who were brutally murdered in Srebrenica and the 250,000 Bosnian and Herzegovinians who lost their lives, we will never stop reminding the community of the genocide that people like Patriarch Pavle refuse to recognize.

With kind regards,

Hariz Halilovich (on behalf of Srebrenica Society)

Srebrenica Suspect Regrets Videotape

BELGRADE, Serbia-Montenegro (AP) - The main suspect in a landmark trial of five Serb militiamen charged with the videotaped execution of six Bosnians said Tuesday he would have killed the soldier who filmed it if he knew it would become public. The suspects, whose trial opened Tuesday in Belgrade, were charged after the June airing of the gruesome 1995 video showing six civilians being taken from a truck with their hands tied, lined up on a hillside near Srebrenica and sprayed with machine-gun fire. The five face up to 40 years in jail if convicted. Serbia has abolished the death penalty. None of the defendants entered a plea because it was not required by the Serbian judicial system. Instead, the judge immediately began questioning the accused, starting with main defendant Slobodan Medic. Medic, the commander of the dreaded Serb "Scorpions'' paramilitary unit, showed no remorse for the slayings during his opening remarks, saying that if he had known that the footage would become public, he would have "killed like a rabbit'' the Serb soldier who did the filming.

As many as 8,000 Bosnian men and boys were killed when Bosnian Serb troops overran Srebrenica in 1995. It was Europe's worst mass killing since World War II. Medic insisted he did not order the executions of civilians, but he added he could not control some of his soldiers, who were eager to kill rival Bosnians after losing family members allegedly brutally slain by Bosnian fighters. "I think I did everything the best I could, considering the circumstances,'' Medic said. "The footage is now in the center of attention but back then it was irrelevant.

Now it can cost me my freedom.'' The footage, first shown in June at the U.N. war crimes tribunal in The Hague, Netherlands, showed four Bosnian men being shot dead from behind. The two others were ordered to carry the bodies into a nearby barn where they, too, were killed. "There is no death sentence, but I hope justice will be served for those monsters,'' said Sajma Saltic - whose brother Sadik, 36, was among the six executed. The footage, which caused public outrage in Bosnia as well as in Serbia, was first shown at the U.N. tribunal's trial of former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic, indicted for atrocities during the Bosnian and other Balkan wars. The footage was considered by some legal experts strong evidence linking Milosevic to the Srebrenica killings. However, The Hague tribunal last week denied war crimes prosecutors their request to call the members of the killing squad seen in the video. The tribunal said the footage was not considered important enough to reopen the prosecution part of Milosevic's trial.

Medic seemed very cautious not to implicate Milosevic or other Belgrade officials. He insisted that his unit was formed by rebel Serbs in neighboring Croatia, that it was based there and came to Bosnia merely "in response to appeals for help'' from fellow Serbs in Bosnia at the time of crucial territorial battles there. The indictment read out at the Belgrade court Tuesday said the Scorpions unit numbered about 500 men and fought on three occasions in Bosnia during the 1992-95 war there. Defense lawyer Miroslav Perkovic expressed doubt about "the questionable and obviously edited video.''
"Some segments appear authentic, but it is necessary to reassess its veracity,'' Perkovic said, adding that the broadcasting of the footage has created a highly prejudiced atmosphere against the defendants.''

Meanwhile, Serbian war crimes prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic said the indictment may even be expanded to include more suspects. He did not elaborate but said "more evidence keeps coming in.'' Tuesday December 20, 2005 7:46 PM By MISHA SAVIC Associated Press Writer Artikal 123, 12-20-2005 .

Boyle: "Only justice for Srebrenica victims is the abolishment of the RS"

WASHINGTON/SARAJEVO, January 13 (FENA) – The former representative of the BiH lawsuit against Serbia and Montenegro for aggression and genocide, American professor of international law Francis Boyle told Fena on Friday that Alija Izetbegovic as the BiH Presidency Chair authorized him as the BiH Ambassador before the International Court of Justice in The Hague to launch this lawsuit. He stressed that the only justice for all victims and survivors of Srebrenica, as well as other crimes, can be achieved with the abolishment of the RS entity and a creation formed on genocide, mass killing, rapes and the disintegration of BIH. "This is what, ten years on, the international community owes the people of BIH", Boyle said.

“The RS needs to be abolished and a single BiH created for all its citizens of good will – Muslims, Catholics, Jews and others, on the foundations of pluralism and democracy”, he said and added that changes to the Dayton Agreement are possible if there is political will. Prof. Boyle is convinced that BiH would win the process against SCG.

He believed that this verdict should be used to terminate the RS, which is nothing but a genocidal state creation. Regarding the eventual compensation SCG would have to pay to BIH, Prof. Boyle said that Serbia is bankrupt and that this suit was not submitted for money, i.e this was not the intent of late Izetbegovic. "THE SIEGE" of Sarajevo 1992-1996

HOW IT REALLY HAPPENED?

"As far as I'm concerned, this was an overture, the first trial, so to speak, for the members of the Serbian Democratic Party to test their formations that would be used of course one month later. A test to see how they would cut the city in half and take the city. I remember the evening hours of the first of March. I was at home, when the squad on duty at the Ministry of Internal Affairs called me and asked me to come down to the station. Naturally, upon arriving we found out that in certain parts of the city, or on certain blocks of particular streets and crossings, paramilitary groups made up of criminals who were ethnic Serbs had blocked off parts of town, were molesting citizens, stopping cars, looting, and generally doing everything that was not allowed. That evening a whole unit had gathered in Krtelji. Which means that they were called on duty just as I was, and were just waiting to go into action. Naturally, no one ordered the Ministry of Internal Affairs, that is, the unit, which I commanded to clear those boys at the barricades off the streets. Instead, they waited for some political solution. That political solution was preceded by an agreement between the president of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alija Izetbegovic, the president of the Serbian Democratic Party, Radovan Karadzic, and General Kukanjac.

One event remained engraved in my memory: I went in, it was a dark room and there were some food and drinks served on the table, and from the end of his large office I heard some inarticulate voices. Actually, when I called down that dark room I saw that it was General Kukanjac and that he was completely drunk. He was saying something, but I couldn't understand a word. We didn't stay long there, and we left - that man named Suput and I, And Colonel Kelecevic, who I think was Kukanjac's security officer- to formulate the plan calling for mixed patrols. We wrote it up, of course, and began to send the patrols out on the streets. The mixed patrols had a particular goal, to remove the barricades that had started to go up from that day on, in streets leading in or out of Sarajevo, especially on the roads just outside of town. And in general in areas where either one group or the other made up the majority of the population. The barricades were built most often in those places. And the main task of those patrols was to keep the roads open. "

Bosnian offical language is BOSNIAN not Bosniak

Yes there is a Bosnian language. The ancient Bosnian language is called Bosančica. ( See the pictures below ) From the language called Bosančica we have now Bosanski --- or Bosnian! The difference between a Bosnian language and so called "Serbo-Croatian dialect" spoken in Bosnia is political rather than linguistic. Almost everyone in Bosnia speaks Bosnian native. People of different religions living in Bosnia (eg. Bosnian muslims, catholics, buddhists, atheists, agnostics ) and members of all other religions claim they speak Bosnian respectively).

"Serbo-Croatian dialect" and newly invented "Bosniak" term for language are made to exist for political reasons, as an attempt to further occupy Bosnia, divide the country and unite with either Serbia or Croatia.

There is no need to rename already existent language in any other way, and even worse assign the official language of entire country to people who belong to specific religion.  Macedonian is considered by Bulgarians as a dialect of their language while Macedonians themselves consider it a separate language. Since Bulgaria has long claimed Macedonia as part of its territory, the reasons for each view are obvious!

See photos below of Bosnian ancient language found on many artifacts throughout the Balkans.

This job announcement below written by someone from GES ( genocidal entity Srpska ) IS an evidence of denial of Bosnian language on territory of Bosnia. It asks Bosnian applicants to be able to speak non-existent  "Bosniak" language and "its culture" refusing to actually call already existent official Bosnian language who by the way EVERYBODY in Bosnia speak ( including ethnic minorities of Serbs and Croats ). In fact this job announcement is written in Bosnian language except they used another form of letter, called Cyrillic to make it look like drastically different.

COMMENT - ALL FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIVISION by Bedrudin GUŠIĆ (Translation provided by blogger Sarajevska Princeza )

If this were the way it isn't, the above job announcement would not be worth of anyone's attention besides for those who are in (no)opportunity to submit an application. But, because this is the way it is, then let us notice at least how fellow followers of Karadjordjevic's work are continuously deceiving, changing the religion of our Bosnian language against it's will and in that way making Serbian ears to get used to forgery, on the behalf of language that, according to them, speak only members of one constitutive people.

The deception of public firm radio television 'republike srpske' is not their own, and not just theirs. All, literary all officials from that part of Bosnia-Herzegovina, that had been formed on genocide and war crimes, are using that terminology when they talk about one of the official languages of our country, with clear anti-bosnian intentions and aims.

Serbian violence against the language is twofold - they are making up new, non-existent "bosniak language" so that they could wash up the name of already existent - Bosnian language. Serbs can not understand that times of their hegemonism passed by when they were deciding about everything alone, and even about how group of people will be named and what name should be given to the language they speak.

And, when it comes to the chetniks attack on Bosnian language, at least it is left to those who are romantics to fight for its existence, since the officials of Bosnia-Herzegovina are not already fighting for it, international community and individuals who consciously or unconsciously, it doesn't even matter, are accepting to submit an application on advertisements for job positions that require the knowledge of the language that doesn't exist.

Concentration Camps, tortures and masacres of Bosnians in 1992

Concentration camps that Serbs held in Bosnia were: Manjaca, Omarska, Trnopolje, Luka Brcko, Batkovici, Dretelj, Heliodrom, Gabela, Drmeljevo, KPD Foca, Susica – Vlasenica, Kula – Sarajevo, Zepce...

Even today more than 80% of Serbs don't believe that Genocide ever took place in Bosnia. Not that the world is trying to convince them, but just to remind ourselves again that obviously they do support their serbo-chetnik's nationalistic politics otherwise they would long time ago punish their war criminals, Serbs Radovan Karadzic, Ratko Mladic and others. Instead, Serbia is helping them to hide while tryng to get as much Bosnian terriory as they can get through support of Serbs who ethnically cleansed 49% of Bosnia and comitted unforgettable crimes against humanity in the heart of Europe.

This link with photos is just a tiny part of the most evil thing anyone can commit against another human being. (Please be aware that pictures in the above link are very graphic.)

13 years later these war criminals and murderers are still walking free.

Dayton Agreement made Bosnia an occupied country

One letter but not from me...
From someone who cares about Bosnia as much as myself...
Sarajevska Princeza

The analyzes of DAYTON AGREEMENT BEFORE it was signed. You can read the full article if you click on the link at the end.

Republika Bosna i Hercegovina

Professor Francis A. Boyle

MEMORANDUM

TO: THE PEOPLE AND PARLIAMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

FROM: PROFESSOR FRANCIS A. BOYLE SUBJECT: THE DAYTON AGREEMENT DATE: NOVEMBER 30, 1995

DEAR FRIENDS:

"It is a bit strange and unprecedented for the Republic of Croatia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia to "fully respect and promote fulfillment of the commitments made" in the new Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In other words, Croatia and the rump Yugoslavia have basically been made guarantors for the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is similar to what happened in Cyprus, where Turkey, Britain and Greece were guarantors. Of course the war ensued."

12. 3. "Both Entities shall be held equally responsible for compliance herewith..." In other words, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska are being treated as if they were de facto independent states. The Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina is nowhere to be found here.

98. The above comments speak for themselves and require no further elaboration from me. It is for you to decide where to go from here, whether to accept the Dayton Agreement or reject it.

In the event you decide to reject the Dayton Agreement, then I am fully prepared to return to the World Court immediately for the purpose of obtaining an official order against this carve-up of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and for the purpose of breaking the heavy weapons arms embargo against the Bosnian Armija that will still continue in effect for quite some time.

I cannot decide this matter for you. It is your future that is at stake. It is your State. It is your Destiny. It will be your Children and Grandchildren who will have to live with this decision.

May God always be with you.

Sarajevo Trams

People in Sarajevo use public transportation a lot. Trams are very popular. Driving the car is usually used on a longer distances. There are many funny stories and experiences especially while attending the high school and using trams every day.

Sarajevo was the first European City to have city-wide tram service. Trams are part of Sarajevo culture.

Who are the chetniks?

Chetniks are Serbian nationalists. The first picture to the left is a picture of chetniks killing Bosnian civilians in Brcko, Bosnia during 1992. People on the photo did not survive. Chetniks not just lack the sense of compassion for others, but they also see the pride in torturing and genocide they already have committed in Srebrenica in 1992. The victims were mostly innocent people and children. They still deny the genocide although the whole world knows the truth. Video: Chetniks in Sarajevo

Their ideology is very similar if not the same to Nazi and Hitler's ideology. They are thought to believe they are "superior nation". Hitler and the Nazis were masters at incorporating the arts and the media manipulations. The same thing was happening in Serbia. How different was Srebrenica from Auschwitz? Yet Serbs never admitted. They manipulated media and simply claimed that Bosnians captured in concentration camps are in fact Serbs. Even today they haven't showed any remorse. The World needed, no less no more but 10 years to see the evidence of prosecution.

Bosnian Children of orthodox religion encouraged by Serbs to model Chetniks

They use symbols very similar like Nazi. Four letters "S" written in chirilic alphabet on each side of the cross ( religious symbol ) and their tradition is in fact, to cross themselves ( in the name of God ) just before killing the victim. There were also incidents where religious leaders were blessing chetniks before genocide. Chetniks are not religious people. They just use religion to justify the killings. In fact the churches in Serbia are mostly supportive of them, and they are highly politically involved in decisions of people of Serbia. Their church is obviously alianiated from God because Serbian murderers and genocide killers are approved and blessed for their acts.

4S chetnik's symbol

The chetniks are Serbs nationalists whose ideology is founded on the killings and tortures of infamous chetnik Draza Mihajlovic who was portraying himself as the "hero" to the West ( saving American pilots to win the approval and support by US - for instance, or killing Germans during the II World War ) and in reality, Draza Mihajlovic was nothing else but a butcher on the Balkans, a murderer with no remorse whose main ideology was to eliminate all non-Serbs and form so called "Great Serbia" that would unite all Serbs into one country on the account of all other states that at that time willingly decided to become a part or "United Republics of Yugoslavia". Yugoslavia was NOT consisted only of Serbs, therefore Yugoslavia is not even today in any way "only Serbian".

Children poisoned and encouraged to be chetniks just like the father

Many Serbs are in fact a mixture of Turks and Slavs due to 500 years of Turkish Ottoman Empire, and one of few nations in the world who committed genocide. Bosnians are completely separated nation that rejected Serbian politics, culture and tradition and embraced their own, just like each other Republic in ex YU. Democracy to Serbs was always a foreign concept. The funny thing is that they seem to be the only people who think of themselves as "superior people". They put prefix "Serbian" in front of everything like: cities, bridges, towns, villages, street names, new years eve, music, people, sky, air, food, etc. At the end you get "Serbian" attached to everything.

Consequently Genocide of Non-Serbs in Bosnia

Photo by Ron Haviv: Bijeljina, Bosnia 1992 Serb hitting Bosnian civillians

Genocide took place in the heart of Europe not because  Serbs desire democracy but because they desire all Serbs in one country so in order to achieve that, they figured out, the best thing to do would be to kill and ethnically eliminate all non-Serbs.They thought nobody will ever find out and all will be forgotten. Slobodan Milosevic, ex President of Serbia tried for war crimes in Bosnia and currently in Hague - have been one of chetnik's "heroes" for helping them with arms and participating in Bosnian war. On the picture below the chetnick is holding his photo. There are many Milosevic's and chetniks everywhere, especially in area dominated by Serbs (  photo here )

The 4S on Serbian current offical flag

The chetnicks flag with 4S

This is one of the items that was used in genocide killing in Srebrenica, when thousands of boys younger than 10 years old, together with older men and civilians were tortured, women and young children raped and finally dumped into the mud. ( photo here ) Can you imagine seeing your 7 year old son grabbed from your own hands and murdered while you are watching? Would you be able to see your own 9 month pregnant wife to be murdered by cetnik's in front of you?

Your own unborn child being brutally taken out from her womb while his mother is dead and your unborn baby is than nailed on the walls of your own house? That's exactly what they were doing. This is something that normal mind can not imagine or understand.

Serbian chetnik with a knife in his mouth symbolizing the acts of cutting throats of non-Serbs

They are still living free in Bosnia and not just that they are not punished for their crimes against humanity but they still believe they did nothing wrong. They still don't take responsibility for their actions to the World, to Bosnians and to themselves. This is one of the chetnik's flags they use to represent their own ideology. "Death" is their symbol. Killing, murdering, evil... Chetniks proved in Bosnia one more time that they are against the God and humanity. Like we did not know.

"With faith in God, freedom or death."

And this is the photo from Srebrenica that clearly matches the symbolism of the serbo-cetnik's flag. The genocide in Srebrenica was the result of their hatred. Most of them are not educated, usually have less than elementary school at highest level, maybe a high school. They have beard, don't shave, don't wear clean clothes, don't really care about anything. There is another category of cetnik's who are "educated" such as Radovan Karadzic ( how did he get B.A in psychology only God knows!? ) anyway, the point is that no matter how educated they are, the hatred against non-Serbs seems to be deeply rooted and reinforced in their early age by their parents and peers.

Many people think it's in genes, it's something that is not possible to influence or change in any way. Other believe they are mentally ill collectively.
Chetnick's movements are no different from Nazi movements. It's still deep rooted in their upbringing. It is simply a Serbian tradition.
Bosnians in a concentration Camps were held by Serbs - where torture, rape and killings were taking place. Many feel pity for such an alienation from God and others are angry for non-punishment for crimes against humanity.

Zasto volim zivot u Sarajevu?

- Volim zato sto sam tu rodjena. Gdje necu voliti svoj rodni grad, svoju domovinu?
Forever.
- Volim stil zivota.
- Volim Bascarsiju uzasno, shopping centre, butike, muziku, i sve ostalo a toga imate u Sarajevu koliko hocete.
- Volim prirodu, i izletista, razne atrakcije, hobije, sve je na dohvat ruke.
- Volim Sarajevski humor
- Volim jer su tragedije cesto komedije, vrlo duhom jak specifican grad, pun emocija i vatrenosti, kompleksan, ujedno zanimljiv.
- Volim sto mozete kupiti namirnice u shoppingu i doci sutra da platite jer gazda vas poznaje.
- Volim sto je hrana nekako drugacija. Okus je puno originalniji.
- Volim jer mogu cuti ezan kad setam gradom, posebno poslije rata to je za mene poseban dozivljaj i vrlo emotivan.
- Volim jer je Sarajevo multietnicki i multivjerski svjetski poznat grad.
- Volim vrijeme u Sarajevu, ljeta vrela, zime hladne - more blizu, vrlo lijepa klima.
Itd.

Ethnic Cleansing/genocide involves the systematic annihilation of sacral monuments, libraries, museums, and all other traces

Bosnia's National Library Sarajevo in the past

There are many people all over the world interested in Bosnian architecture and historical artifacts. One of them is Andras Riedlmayer, Bibliographer in Islamic Art and Achitecture Fine Arts Library, at Harvard University. He presents interesting facts about Bosnian history, heritage, and the systematic attack in 55 minute tape that shows pictures of the monuments before and after their destruction before destruction and after.

It is called Killing Memory: Bosnia's Cultural Heritage and Its Destruction (Philadelphia: Community of Bosnia, 1994). This work is very important in the understanding of cultural genocide in Bosnia or anywhere else. Ethnic Cleansing/genocide involves the systematic annihilation of sacral monuments, libraries, museums, and all other traces that the targeted people ever existed.

Bosnia's National Library Sarajevo after the war

Some destructions:

- The burning of the Oriental Institute on May 17, 1992 in which the largest collection of Arabic, Turkish, Persian, and Aljamiado manuscripts in Southeast Europe went up in flames;

- The attack on the National Museum of Sarajevo;

- The dynamiting of the great mosques, including the sixteenth century Ferhad Pasha mosque in Banja Luka and the Aladza (Colored) Mosque in Foca,

- Masterworks of Balkan architecture; the destruction of entire ancient towns such as Pocitelj, Stolac, and Zitomoslici,

- The annihilation of the Mostar bridge and attempt to destroy all of Islamic heritage in Mostar and the campaign to rewrite history by claiming that there "never were any mosques" in Zvornik and Foca, after Serb religious nationalists destroyed dozens of mosques.

Bill Clinton in Srebrenica

"We remember this terrible crime because we dare not forget, because we must pay tribute to the innocent lives, many of them children, snuffed out in what must be called genocidal madness." ( Bill Clinton )

Mr. Clinton told thousands of victims' relatives at the Srebrenica genocide memorial. Widows of those who died wanted Clinton to be the person to open the new memorial site, with one telling the BBC: "He is the only man with the moral authority to do so."

"Among all the world leaders, Clinton has the biggest moral right to open this memorial center," said Amor Masovic, the head of the Federal Commission for Missing Persons. Clinton was president when over 8,000 Bosnian boys and men were massacred in the so-called U.N. protected enclave of Srebrenica in July 1995 after Serb forces overran the area. It was the single biggest atrocity of the war and Europe's worst genocide since World War II. The ceremony opened with the Bosnian anthem and the raising of the Bosnian flag followed by a choir singing a specially written song that envisions the victims talking to the survivors. Women in the crowd wept as they heard the sorrowful song. Clinton criticized those in power who talked of "religious and ethnic superiority."

"People who quest for power killed those good people simply because of who they were," he said. "They sought power through genocide, but Srebrenica was the beginning of the end to genocide in Europe."

Mr. Clinton called for those who carried out the massacre to be apprehended: "Those most responsible for the atrocities (Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic), the leaders, have not been apprehended. The search for them must continue until they are," Clinton said. The two men have been charged with genocide by the U.N. war-crimes tribunal in The Hague, Netherlands, and are believed to be hiding in Bosnia or Serbia.

Bill Clinton in Srebrenica, Bosnia

"The search for them must continue," Clinton said."We owe it to the men and boys buried in this hallowed ground. We owe it to those who survived them. And we owe it to the Bosnians not yet born to see that it is done. I hope and prey that Srebrenica will be for all the world a sombre reminder to the world of common humanity."

Srebrenica survivor Advija Ibrahimovic, 22, described the scene for the audience. "Frightened children, sad women and broken old men stood next to me, and all of us watched the hatred killing human beings. I still remember the moment when they took my father away, and his last glance cast at my interrupted childhood," she said.

Biba Delic, 37, with her two children, wept as the body of her husband Aziz was brought in for burial alongside his two brothers and father."Today I am burying my husband and with him I am burying hope. The day we identified him, my hope that I might see him ever again died," she said weeping and hugging her son and daughter. "I wish I could still hope."

In some places several members of one family were to be buried together, including Selim Delic to be laid to rest with his three sons - Aziz, Azem and Eniz, who were 33, 25 and 20 years old respectively when they were killed. "It is hard for me to explain how I feel. It is so sad, but it is better to have found them late rather than never," Hazim Delic, 31, the fourth brother who survived the massacre along with his mother.

Clinton said he hoped Srebrenica would be a reminder for "every child in the world that pride in our own religious or ethnic heritage does not require or permit us to dehumanize or kill those who are different." He asked the victims to find strength to forgive, but also called for justice for those responsible for the massacre and other war crimes. Clinton also took a walk through downtown Sarajevo and visited historic Bascarsija street. Sarajevo's residents greeted Bill Clinton with joy: "Bill Clinton, you are the best!"

In Srebrenica, the healing is happening only slowly. Srebrenica's pre-war population of 36,000, overwhelmingly Bosnians, has dwindled to 9,000. Most of the Bosnians who survived have not been able to return. Bosnia is still trying to account for all its dead. Mass graves are still being found and exhumed years after the war ended. According to the Red Cross, more than 200,000 people were killed during the war. Eva Klonovski, who is helping in the dig, said: "Also it is another thing about this grave because we have had here the remains of women and children and it is the biggest concentration of women and children found in one grave."

Meantime at the War Crimes Tribunal in the Hague, Slobodan Milosevic, the former leader of Yugoslavia, is charged with a host of war crimes including genocide. The principal perpetrators accused of the massacre are still at large, including former Serb leaders Radovan Karadzic and Gen. Ratko Mladic.

On August 2, 2001, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia delivered its first genocide conviction, for crimes committed in the wake of the 1995 capture of Srebrenica by the Serb Army. Serb Gen. Radislav Krstic was sentenced to 46 years in jail. On December 02. 2003, Serb Captain Momir Nikolic was sentenced to 27 years in prison for taking part in the 1995 Srebrenica massacre. On December 10. 2003, Serb Captain Dragan Obrenovic was sentenced to 17 years in jail for his role in the 1995 Srebrenica massacre.

Kemal Pervanic - "The Killing Days"

Kemal Pervanic currently lives in London, UK. He wrote a book about everything that took place while he was in Serb held concentration camp Manjaca and Omarska. He was only 24 when he was taken from his own home by chetniks ( Serbian nationalists ) and transferred to the concentration camp. That was in the early 1992. He survived brutal tortures there. This is one of rare concentration camp survivors who wanted to share the truth with the world, and he succeeded.

Kemal Pervanic  is Bosnian of strong character who upon arrival to London, UK did not only graduate from university but also had a courage to write a book and in yet one more way contribute that concentration camps, ethnic cleansing and massacres committed by Serbs in the heart of Europe are never forgotten.

Zasto volim zivot u Americi?

Volim zivot u Americi iz 1000 razloga.

- Zato sto mogu da imam zivot u savremenim i demokratskim uslovima gdje postoji bar neka stabilnost bez velikih uspona i padova.
- Volim radi finansijskog prosperiteta. Ovdje novac ljude cini sretnim ( i oni to priznaju )
- Volim prirodne ljepote, visoku tehnologiju, jeftinocu proizvoda, mogucnost kupovine sta god hocete, jedan vrlo normalan zivot koji svako ljudsko bice zasluzuje - ja imam - i cijenim to sto imam.
